PIRAMID XL2 outdoor motion sensor
The PIRAMID XL2 outdoor motion sensor provides false-alarm-free performance and ‘volumetric’ protection even under severe environmental conditions. Rain, sleet, snow, fog, ice and wind is said to have no impact on the XL2’s performance or reliability. Additionally, moving vegetation, blowing debris, swinging signs, vibration and randomly moving objects are filtered out by the sensor.
The sensor is also not affected by extreme temperatures as it has an operating temperature range of -34 to 66°C. It is encased in a rugged, weatherproof, IP65 metal housing that shields the unit from RFI/EMI interference, rain, snow, wind and sun loading. Additionally, the sensor features enhanced bird and animal immunity control.
