Schneider Electric’s EcoStruxure Security Expert integrated security management solution provides high-performance access control and intrusion detection functionality.

It is the latest addition to the company’s EcoStruxure IoT-enabled, plug-and-play, open architecture, which delivers end-to-end solutions in six domains of expertise — power, IT, building, machine, plant and grid — for four end markets: building, data centre, industry and infrastructure.

Combining innovative software and hardware with the latest IP technology, the solution enables security and IT convergence, merging data from key security systems including video surveillance, intrusion detection, access control and alarm management.

Security Expert technology also tightly integrates with Schneider Electric’s SmartStruxure building management system (BMS) — powered by StruxureWare Building Operation software — to enable clearer decisions, faster responses and maximum facility efficiency. Building security data is made available via easy-to-use interfaces that span workstations, web stations and mobile devices.

EcoStruxure Security Expert is suitable for a variety of building environments including hospitals, data centres, hotels and commercial buildings, including large enterprises and small to mid-sized facilities.
