Interworld Electronics MPC-HD series switched PDUs

The MPC-HD series switched PDUs are designed to provide secure, remote power control and reboot capabilities for high current devices such as Sun Blade 6000, Cisco Nexus 7000 data centre switches and HP 7000 blade servers.

With 16 or 32 A inputs and dual input power buses, the units are suitable for managing server farm equipment that requires high current and power supply redundancy. Each power bus is split into three, individually switched circuits. Each circuit includes one IEC 320 C19 outlet and one IEC 320 C13 outlet, for a total of 12 switched outlets.

Advanced metering capabilities allow the MPC-HD to measure and report kilowatt hours, amps, voltage and temperature. When any of these factors exceed threshold values, the device can automatically break or reboot the power. Reboots and power shutdowns can also be performed when a device fails to respond to a ping command, under remote control, or according to a user-defined schedule.
