Sensors for harsh environments

The uprox+ Factor 1 line of sensors has been expanded to include IP69k-rated washdown versions with temperature ratings from -40 to 100°C. These sensors are designed to be resilient to the high-pressure cleaning agents often found in the food and beverage and pharmaceutical industries.

Constructed from durable 316 stainless steel, the sensors incorporate a liquid crystal polymer front cap that aids in resisting moisture ingress and a polypropylene cable jacket that stands up to harsh chemicals and extreme temperatures.

The upgraded sensors feature longer sensing ranges for detecting all metals, including non-ferrous metals such as stainless steel at the same rated distance, making them suitable for food and beverage applications where the targets are often made from stainless steel.
