KNX Awards: call for entries

The KNX Awards 2022 are now open for entries. The long-standing awards aim to showcase the smartest KNX home and building projects. This year, KNX is adding new categories to differentiate between smart home and smart building projects, as well as to reward innovative implementation of the latest trends.

Businesses are invited to submit their projects in one of the categories selected by the Award Jury or to enter the People’s Choice Award. This year there is also the opportunity to vote for a favourite KNX Product.

Each winner receives €1000 prize money and an award trophy along with the prestige of being a KNX Award-winning business. Categories include the Smart Home Award, Smart Building Award, Innovation Award (for projects implemented with the latest developments in the KNX Technology) and Energy Efficiency Award. The Special Award recognises KNX projects that are highlighted by special characteristics, show very special integrations rarely seen before and/or are made in unusual building types.

All KNX projects will be accepted and the size of the project is not the primary factor. Projects will be judged on the diversity of used building applications with KNX; flexibility and expandability; level of automation and complexity of installation; user-friendliness and acceptance; convincing arguments for the client; and use of products for different KNX manufacturers in one application.

The full set of rules and conditions to apply for the KNX Awards 2022 can be checked here. Entries must be submitted by 31 May, with nominees announced in July. The People’s Choice Award will be voted for in August and the KNX Awards Ceremony will take place on 27 September (online).
