Resi-linx launches new e-commerce website

Friday, 26 July, 2013

An Australian supplier of structured cabling, audio and video distribution and IR control solutions, resi-linx has launched a new e-commerce website to make distribution easier.

To coincide with the launch of the new website, resi-linx will be offering free delivery on all purchases placed in July. All purchases will be shipped express through Australia Post’s eParcel service and free local pickup will be available to Melbourne customers. For those customers that need a product instantly, there will also be a list of contact details for local distributors on the site who hold stock.

“We have a long history of supporting the industry and this new website is the best way for us to continue to do so,” said resi-linx Business Manager Jason Crabtree.

The new website is available to members of both the trade and DIY communities. It features every product from the resi-linx catalogue as well as its associated installation manuals. To make purchasing simple, the site will support MasterCard, Visa and PayPal.

Tradespeople who successfully apply for a trade account will be given unique login details that will grant them access to special trade pricing and offers. The site will also keep a record of their purchase history, which means they can easily keep track of their jobs and, if they’re working on similar projects, repeat an order.

The company is also launching a new loyalty program called resi-rewards for trade customers, providing them access to special offers, exclusive discounts and other rewards.

Members of resi-rewards can accrue points on each purchase. The points can then be redeemed as a credit on future purchases. Customers can also choose to build their points over time or redeem them on their next transaction.
