The Lovato Kinco series of smart relay programmable logic controllers (PLCs) allows the replacement of different traditional control devices such as timers, counters, relays and hour meters into one compact and adaptable device.
Programming with the built-in keypad and display is quite simple and straightforward, and does not require any particular programming knowledge. Programs can also be written using a PC with LRX SW software and an interface cable using either traditional ladder logic or function block methods.
The smart relays are available in 24 VDC, 24 VAC and 100-240 VAC power supply versions, and base units are available with 10, 12 or 20 I/O. With the use of expansion modules, up to 44 I/O is possible. The DC-powered versions are also provided with a 0-10 V analog input. Other features include RTC and calendar, RS232 serial port and 35 mm DIN rail mounting. The product is suitable for use in home, building and machine automation applications, greenhouse projects and in the materials handling industry.
