The Altivar 312 variable speed drives feature auto-tuning, pre-programmed application settings and enhanced communication capabilities to ensure suitability for applications ranging from stand-alone production machines to integrated process architectures.

Typical applications include process machinery, materials handling, packaging, ventilation, pumping and mixing.

The drives are available in either single-phase in, three-phase out connection with ratings from 0.18 to 2.2 kW or three-phase in, three-phase out connection with ratings from 0.37 to 15 kW.

Other features of the drives include Modbus, CANopen, DeviceNet, Profibus communication, protective conformal coating for resistance to harsh environments and simplified user interfacing and front panel control for intuitive navigation.
