ABB to supply LV switchgear and MCCs to Shell
ABB has signed a five-year agreement with Shell to become its global single-source supplier of low-voltage switchgear, motor control centres and related services.
The five-year global agreement, with an option for an additional five-year extension, covers the sales, support and service of low-voltage switchgear and motor control centres across both International Electro-technical Commission (IEC) and National Electrical Manufacturers’ Association (NEMA) geographies for green-field and brown-field sites.
ABB’s Low Voltage Products division is a provider of protection, control and measurement solutions for a wide range of electrical installations, enclosures, switchboards, electronics and electro-mechanical devices across all major industries including the residential sector.
