ADC Krone celebrates 25 years of manufacturing in Australia
ADC Krone recently celebrated its 25th year of manufacturing end-to-end fibre, copper and wireless broadband connectivity solutions in Australia.
To mark the milestone, NSW Premier Nathan Rees joined more than 200 ADC Krone employees to unveil a plaque at the company’s Berkeley Vale facility on the central coast of NSW.
“I am pleased to be able to attend the celebration today and would like to congratulate ADC Krone on their 25 years of operation in Australia,” Premier Rees, said. “The facility here on the central coast of NSW is state-of-the-art, environmentally equipped and contains the company’s R&D centre of excellence for the Asia Pacific region. The company is not only providing local jobs but a long-term commitment to NSW and Australia.”
ADC Krone’s research and design capabilities in Australia include an on-site laboratory, which is Australia’s first UL-certified testing facility for the industry.
“ADC Krone takes pride in its 25-year history of supporting the local economy, through the provision of high-speed networking solutions that are relied upon by our customers to meet the current and future broadband needs of businesses and consumers,” said Tom Jamieson, Director of Operations & Supply Chain. “Our Australian operation also exports a wide range of products around the world and invests significantly in the local research and development of network connectivity technology that will help service providers and other organisations meet the unrelenting global demand for bandwidth.”
