Clipsal to distribute Switch Automation

Tuesday, 30 June, 2009

Switch Automation has signed an agreement to have its automation products distributed through Clipsal Integrated System’s Australia wide C-Bus pointOne and C-Bus Platinum distribution network.

It is anticipated that the agreement will lead to a 100% increase in turnover for Switch Automation’s range of automation control solutions for Australian and New Zealand markets. The company’s projected annual turnover forecast is $8 million by 2011, with Clipsal Integrated Systems driving that growth.

Since 2002, Switch Automation has designed, developed and manufactured automation control solutions for residential, commercial, industrial and multi-dwelling applications.

“Our products’ core strengths are in their ability to provide a residential building’s standard IP intercoms systems and BMS. They fit well with the Clipsal C-Bus lighting control and integration system,” says Deb Noller, Director, Switch Automation. “C-Bus is simple to use and very robust. Our customers lose faith in a product when it doesn’t do what it’s supposed to first time. That’s why Clipsal’s stringent certification processes are of critical importance to us. And with Clipsal distributing our products, we can get on with what it does best, designing and developing new products.”

Clipsal’s CIS General Manager, Gavin De Livera, adds: “Switch Automation is fulfilling an important niche in the multi-storey residential sector. The market is growing and the goals they’re kicking haven’t gone unnoticed at Clipsal. We believe their offering complements ours and together we can now provide a greater C-Bus offering to our customers in one convenient supply chain.”
