Emerson appoints new senior director of sales productivity
Emerson Network Power recently announced the promotion of Chris Mandahl to the position of senior director for sales productivity. Reporting directly to vice president and general manager for sales Gene Hayden, Mr Mandahl’s position will cover Australia, New Zealand, South East Asia, Japan, South Korea and Pakistan.
Starting with the company in 1988 as a power customer engineer with the acquired company Liebert Corporation, Mr Mandahl was most recently the senior sales director for Emerson Network Power in Australia and New Zealand. He is now based in Manila.
“Sales productivity is about determining optimal go-to-market strategies and creating a dialogue among sales teams to share and employ best practices,” said Mr Mandahl.
“My primary objective is to develop and equip our sales forces, in the region, through business intelligence efforts that allow us to capitalise on market trends, optimising the sales process and creating incentives that inspire excellence in the field.”
