NECA ACT Excellence and Apprentice Awards 2015

Electrical and communications contractors and apprentices from the ACT were recently recognised at the annual electrical industry Excellence and Apprentice Awards hosted by the National Electrical and Communications Association (NECA).

NECA ACT awarded nine major awards and four commendations across nine categories in the Excellence Awards.

There were six award recipients across two categories in the Apprentice Awards.

NECA Australian Capital Territory Executive Director Oliver Judd said the winning companies and apprentices were chosen because of their commitment to excellence, significant engineering achievements and finishing complex jobs on time.

“The judging panel were privileged to view such high-quality projects and, as always, NECA members have played a critical role in some of the largest and most diverse construction jobs in the state," said Judd.

Finalists were presented in front of 300 industry representatives including contractors, suppliers, educators and government representatives at the Hotel Realm in Canberra.
