Schneider welcomes 12 new engineers to graduate program
Twelve engineering graduates from Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane are preparing to take part in Schneider Electric’s Energy Generation Graduate Programme Assessment Days, which are being held in Sydney and Melbourne throughout May.
During the two-year graduate program, graduates are rotated through different business units such as Industry, Infrastructure and Buildings to get a feel for the company.
Schneider says the program helps develop graduates’ competencies in technical, energy and end-user solutions, sales, project execution and leadership. Over the course of the program, the graduates will acquire an in-depth overview of Schneider’s business, its customers and their needs.
Standout graduates are offered the option of a short-term overseas placement on completion of the program.
“It’s not only about how smart or tech-savvy the graduates are; we are also searching to identify those with leadership potential and a passion to help us solve the world’s energy dilemma,” said Pip Russell, Schneider Electric Human Resources Vice President.
