Street lighting forum at IPWC
IPWEA’s International Public Works Conference (IPWC) will take place in Adelaide from 1–5 May 2022, and can also be attended virtually. A premier event in public works and asset management, it will feature three emerging technology forums, including the Street Lighting & Smart Controls (SLSC) Forum.
David Jenkins, Chief Executive Officer of IPWEA Australasia, said the rapid convergence of LED lighting, smart controls, smart city devices, multifunction poles and mobile telephony made this a field of growing interest for IPWEA members. SLSC Forum highlights include talks on the emergence of virtual fibre (which can avoid the need for trenching), smart street lighting controls, multifunction poles, a masterclass on 5G and presentations about some of the most advanced street lighting projects in Australia.
You can view the full program and find out more about the emerging technology forums on the website.
An early-bird rate for the SLSC Forum will extend until 1 April, for both the in-person and virtual ticket.
