The new face of ACMA

Monday, 15 October, 2007

The Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) has recently redesigned its internet website to better reflect its role as Australia's regulator for broadcasting, internet, radiocommunications and telecommunications.

Most of the "url' addresses for cabling regulation remain unchanged, so any hyperlinks or favourites should remain unaffected, but the navigation pathway from ACMA's homepage to these resources has changed.

To find the Cabling regulation (main page), follow the navigation path:

www.acma.gov.au > Licensing and Regulation > Telecommunications regulation > Cabling regulation.

From the cabling regulation main page you can access all cabling documents and resources, including the latest cabling news, provider rules, registrations, compliance and legal instruments.

There are also resources for consumer information, including brochures, a database to check if a cabler is registered and a complaints service.
