Fluke 5080A multiproduct calibrator

The 5080A multiproduct calibrator accurately calibrates both analog and digital test instruments including analog meters, panel meters, digital multimeters, watt meters and, with optional accessories, clamp meters, megohmmeters and oscilloscopes to 200 MHz.

The instrument calibrates analog instruments reliably, with its high voltage and current compliance. With maximum burden up to 800 mA for AC/DC voltage, and maximum compliance voltage up to 50 V for AC/DC current, it can drive a wide range of analog meters.

Various options and accessories allow users to calibrate an even broader workload. For example, Fluke 9100-200 10/50 turn coil and the 5500/COIL 50-turn current coil both enable calibration of most clamp meters at currents up to 1000 A RMS. Oscilloscopes allow users to calibrate oscilloscopes to 200 MHz to verify dynamic response, bandwidth, timing, multiple triggering functions and input resistance. Megohmmeters source high ohms, high-voltage resistors up to 18 GΩ and also measure high-voltage outputs.

As main voltage applied into a calibrator can cause damage, the calibrator incorporates protection circuitry that prevents it from being damaged by reversed input voltage.

Optional software provides automated calibration as well as reporting and record-management capabilities. The software provides tools to create calibration procedures with no programming required; automate calibration of analog and digital workload; manage calibration asset database; store calibration records; export data; and produce and print customised reports.

The calibrator also works with the MET/CAL software platform via an upgrade.
