Oscilloquartz OSA 5210 telecom GNSS synchronisation clock
The Oscilloquartz OSA 5210 telecom GNSS synchronisation clock can be used for referencing mobile and SDH/SONET networks. Depending on its internal receiver configuration, the clock is capable of referencing the GPS network or the GLONASS network. A configurable auxiliary input port (2.048 MHz, E1, 5 MHz, 10 MHz or 1PPS) is also available to ensure a continuous synchronisation reference when no GPS and/or GLONASS signal is available.
The clock supplies synchronisation on 2x 4 outputs factory configurable between: 2.048 MHz compliant with ITU-T G.703-13; 2.048 Mbps (E1) compliant with ITU-T G.703-9; 10 MHz sine wave (4x); 1 PPS, phase-locked to UTC (4x).
The compact 1U/19″ stand-alone solution can suit several applications, such as 2G, 2.5G, 3G and 4G mobile telecommunications networks and SDH/SONET transport networks, where small size synchronisation source is required.
Suitable applications include: SDH/SONET transport networks; wireless and wireline telecom synchronisation; ATM, LAN/MAN/WAN; phase and frequency reference for power utilities and public services; Synchronous Ethernet (Sync-E).
Benefits include: outputs - 8 x sync outputs at choice (E1, 2.048 MHz, 10 MHz 4x or 1PPS 4x); holdover - standard OCXO 1x10-10/day or option rubidium 5x10-11/month; SNMP and/or SyncView Plus remote management via ethernet (RJ45); TOD over RS232 (NMEA0183) or NTP server (option); local management via RS232C.
