Axis P5522/-E PTZ dome network cameras

The Axis Communications indoor and outdoor professional pan/tilt/zoom (PTZ) dome surveillance cameras allow users to pan and tilt the cameras to see a 360° area and zoom in 18x with autofocus for detailed and sharp images. The cameras also have day and night functionality - automatically changing to black and white mode in low light conditions for clearer results.

The cameras’ wide dynamic range enables objects in both dark and light areas of a scene to be visible. They support video resolutions up to D1 (720 x 480 in 60 Hz, 720 x 576 in 50 Hz) and can simultaneously send multiple video streams in H.264 and/or Motion JPEG that are configured at different frame rates or resolution.

The outdoor P5522/-E PTZ dome network cameras are suitable for stores, banks, museums, warehouses, parking lots, construction sites and business premises.

The indoor P5522 camera’s IP51 rating for protection against dust and dripping water enables it to function even when a sprinkler system is activated. The outdoor P5522-E has IP66 and NEMA 4X ratings for protection against rain, snow, sun and dust. Both indoor and outdoor models are powered using High Power over Ethernet (IEEE 802.3at) with only one cable required for power, video and PTZ controls. A High PoE midspan is supplied with the cameras.
