The AirCheck Wi-Fi tester is a dedicated handheld tool that delivers quick and easy troubleshooting for complex wireless local area networks (WLANs).

The tester offers simple, intuitive operation and can be learned and used in minutes, even by personnel with little previous wireless network experience.

Functions performed by the instrument include verifying and troubleshooting 802.11 a/b/g/n network availability, connectivity, channel utilisation and security settings; identifying coverage and connectivity problems; finding unauthorised or rogue access points, seeing overloaded networks and channels; detecting interference; and validating security settings.

Booting up in less than three seconds, the tester automatically starts discovering networks, access points and channel activity immediately. Testing sessions can be saved and downloaded via the USB port to a PC for report generation or archiving.

Its intuitive interface is built around a 2.8-inch colour LCD screen and a simple menu-based system that can be navigated using just five buttons.

AirCheck Manager software, supplied with the unit, manages all profiles and the information collected from multiple testers.
