HDTV-quality CCTV camera

The Axis P5534 PTZ dome network camera is a pan/tilt/zoom camera with HDTV performance and 18x zoom for indoor surveillance applications such as airports, train stations, warehouses, shops and schools.

The camera is supplied with a High PoE midspan for High Power over Ethernet support, which simplifies installation, since only one cable is required for power, video and PTZ controls.

The camera offers HDTV 720p resolution, full-frame rate, high colour fidelity and 16:9 format. It can deliver multiple, individually configurable H.264 and Motion JPEG video streams simultaneously. H.264 greatly optimises bandwidth and storage use without compromising image quality, while Motion JPEG is supported for increased flexibility. Day and night functionality is also provided for high image quality in low light conditions.

The PTZ camera provides 18x optical and 12x digital zoom with auto-focus and can pan 360° with ‘auto-flip’ functionality that allows the camera to simulate a continuous pan beyond the mechanical stop.

The device also features two-way audio and audio detection, four configurable inputs/outputs for connection to external devices such as sensors and relays, and a built-in SD/SDHC memory card slot to store recordings locally.
