Industrial ethernet cabling

DataTuff is a line of industrial ethernet connectivity components including cord sets, jacks, plug kits, tools and accessories to complement its family of industrial ethernet twisted pair cables, designed to provide robust, standards-based, end-to-end connectivity solutions in IP67 or IP20 installations.

The RJ45 cord sets are made up of modular jacks terminated onto category 5e UTP or FTP cable with solid or stranded conductors, covered in industrial-grade, oil-resistant jackets.

The RJ45 plug kits are available in category 5e UTP or FTP versions and are suitable for use in IP67 installations.

The range of accessories includes 1- or 2-port single-gang or 4-port double-gang stainless steel faceplates that are suitable for use in IP67 installations; 1-, 2-, 3- or 4-port surface-mount boxes; stainless steel covers suitable for use in IP67 installations; hand tools to crimp either UTP or FTP RJ45 plugs; cable strippers; and punch-down connecting tool and tool pouch. The sealed IP67-rated components are designed for use in unprotected and outdoor environments. They are resistant to the ingress of dust, moisture, water, oil and chemical exposure.

The non-sealed IP20-rated cord sets are designed for use in protected enclosures such as control rooms and other areas but may be subjected to extreme temperatures, EMI/RFI and vibration.
