The DMA 7000 distributed media application is a network-based system that manages and distributes multipoint video calls and on-demand videoconferencing services by unifying enterprise visual communication infrastructure.

The system supports desktop, group and tele-presence applications using IP telephony practices. The distributed network design allows enterprises to connect and use main and branch office infrastructure systems together as part of a single, seamless solution.

Intelligent routing capability automatically routes calls in real time around network outages or oversubscribed or unavailable media servers. The distributed network design also provides redundancy with modular components. The solution supports hot-standby server and geographical redundancy.

The system utilises ‘active directory integration’ through a common database and call load balancing across all media server resources to streamline many administrative tasks such as provisioning, reporting and system maintenance and upgrades.
