Delta names new Australia Country Manager
Power and thermal management solution provider Delta Electronics has promoted power industry veteran David Leal to the post of Country Manager for Australia.
Leal was previously Regional President for Asia Pacific at Delta Electronics subsidiary Eltek, which was acquired by Delta Electronics in 2015.
He has been with Eltek since 2008, and during his more than 20-year career has also held roles including Director of Engineering for Power Systems at Power-One (now part of ABB) and Engineering Manager at industrial automation company Invensys (now part of Schneider Electric).
"I am excited to be working with a company so committed to setting the pace in the industry for green technology," Leal said.
"Delta's broad portfolio of green products and strong engineering focus gives me an excellent platform to further expand our market share in Australia."
Delta Electronics provides a range of smart energy-saving systems and solutions in the fields of industrial automation, building automation, telecom power, data centre infrastructure, EV charging, renewable energy, energy storage and display for smart manufacturing and sustainable city operations.
The company was founded in Taiwan in 1971, and now has sales offices, R&D centres and manufacturing facilities spread over nearly 200 locations across five continents.
