Dialight LED industrial and commercial lighting

Dialight has launched two principal types of LED alternatives for conventional industrial and commercial luminaries targeting fluorescents and high intensity discharge (HID) low bay lighting fixtures.

The lighting is suitable for food preparation areas as they are ultra-low maintenance, waterproof and washable, and do not contain glass that could contaminate food and packaging if there is a breakage.

For power generation and heavy industrial manufacturing applications, the luminaires offer vibration-proof, impact-resistant lighting.

The lighting is also suitable for hazardous areas such as petrochemical, oil, gas and mining workplaces.

Dialight LED replacements for fluorescent and HID light fittings are claimed to provide users with maintenance and power cost savings, produce lower carbon emissions, contain fewer harmful chemicals such as mercury and are more environmentally friendly than conventional light sources.

With the long life of LEDs, there is less risk of accidents in the workplace posed by accessing lighting for lamp replacements and less cost for hiring access equipment required to undertake such maintenance.

LEDs come up to full brightness straight away, they do not require a cooling down period and they are not depleted by frequent switching like fluorescents.
