The dimmable Tornado T3 energy saver lamp provides energy-efficient lighting in a compact size, enabling it to be used as a direct replacement for incandescent bulbs and standard energy savers in indoor fixtures, with energy savings of 80% claimed over incandescent bulbs.
The lamp also has the capability to work with most consumer dimmers, its phase-cutting technology discretely mounted on the lamp, practically hidden from view. Dimming allows the lamp’s light output, and therefore energy consumption, to be lowered to save even more energy when the light is dimmed.
The dimming capability also offers scene-setting advantages, where light levels can be adjusted to suit a scene, over a wide dimming range (5-100%).
The lamp features fast run-up time, minimum dimmer start-up level of 10% and hum- and flicker-free operation.
