The compact PowerLogic EM4800 series multicircuit energy meter enables reliable metering of individual tenants with a low installation cost per point by combining revenue-accurate electricity submetering with advanced communications technology.

The meter can provide accurate energy sub-billing, making it suitable for multitenant or departmental metering applications within office towers, condominiums, apartment buildings, shopping centres and other multiuser environments. Tenants can also view information about their energy usage and therefore manage their consumption to reduce their operational costs. The meters are compact, maintenance free and come in a variety of flexible installation options.

Benefits of using the multicircuit energy meter include: metering up to 24 single-phase, 12 dual-phase or 8 three-phase circuits rated to within 0.5% accuracy; equipped with one ethernet port for high-speed data transmission and one V.90 modem port, removing the need for gateways; energy data is stored on board the meter in non-volatile flash memory for data; the backlit LCD features two lines of 16 characters, making information quickly accessible on-site; and the meter is fully supported by PowerLogic ION enterprise power management software for remote monitoring and billing applications.
