The Save it Easy electronic ballast enables energy-efficient T5 fluorescent tube lamps to be retrofitted to existing but inefficient T8 fluorescent lamp fittings.
The ballast is designed to be inserted between T5 tubes and T8 fittings, typically installed during re-lamping activities.
The ballast features low ballast loss, high-frequency operation, high power factor and is non-disruptive to the light’s operation.
The ballast is available in various configurations to facilitate adapting 13 to 35 W T5 lamps to replace 18 to 58 W T8 lamps, yielding a claimed saving of up to 46% over T8 tubes with conventional electromagnetic ballasts.
The device is reverse retrofitable so it can be removed to enable a light fitting to be returned to its original T8 configuration if required.
