Transgrid delivers new transformer to Wallerawang
Transgrid, the owner and operator of the New South Wales transmission network, has delivered the first of two new transformers to Wallerawang, as part of a major upgrade to the existing 132 kV substation.
The huge piece of high-voltage equipment was delivered as part of a $23m investment into the region’s electricity network. Transgrid’s work at the Wallerawang substation includes the installation of two new transformers and the upgrade of high-voltage equipment at the site.
