Blade heads for punch-down tool

Wednesday, 08 July, 2009 | Supplied by: Fluke Networks

A series of interchangeable blade heads for the JackRapid termination tool that support ADC TrueNet KM8 and Copper Ten style cable jacks has been added to list of jack styles the termination tool supports.

The termination tool is claimed to enable jacks to be installed up to eight times faster than with traditional punch-down tools, as users can terminate and trim all eight wires in a jack at once with one squeeze.

The ergonomically designed handle requires less effort in the punch-down process, reducing hand fatigue and letting more jacks be punched down faster.

The handle also includes a built-in wire jacket stripper, which minimises the number of tools required for cabling installation.

The tool features an interchangeable termination head that holds the jack in place and a wall-friendly design that enables close-to-wall installations.
