Connector-Tech ALS CEEform connectors

The CEEform connectors meet the international standard IEC 60309, EN 60309 and VDE 0623. The CEE plugs and sockets are designed for use with single- and multiphase applications. They are suitable in areas such as the entertainment industry, construction, agriculture and the mining industry.

Features include: rugged corrosion- and chemical-resistant plastic construction; up to IP67 environmental protection depending on the version; up to 125 A depending on the version; temperature resistance from -25 to +80°C, short term 1h +100°C; contacts manufactured from a copper zinc alloy; the pilot contact for currents of 63 A and 125 A is an auxiliary contact; and, voltage and phase colour-coded.

Electrical devices to which connectors belong have to be protected for safety reasons from outside influences like dust, foreign objects, direct contact, moisture and water. This protection is provided on industrial connectors by its housings with their latching devices and sealed cable entries. The degree of protection can be selected depending on the type of intended use. The standard IEC 60529 and/or DIN EN 60529/VDE 0470 Part 1 has specified the degree of protection and divided it into several classes.
