Adding the BioMatch 2009 software option to KeyWatcher systems enables full management of contractors at worksites and the ability to issue ID labels or passes to the site.

Keys are released to contractors on site after checking into the system using biometric recognition. Enrolment is done on or off site using a PC. The system can also check on the currency of a contractor’s licence and tie-in time and attendance reports for payrolls. It can work as a single-key management system or be configured with multiple cabinets to hold hundreds of keys.

The system features a steel cabinet with illuminated key slots, interfaces to various access control devices, locking locations for increased security and expansion capability to hold up to 2000 keys, with a unique user code and pin for each key and up to five levels of access for each staff member.

Tamper-proof alarms include repeated invalid user-code, door left open, key missing, key returned by wrong user or not on time, forced cabinet doors and power failure. The alarm can be wired throughout the facility, using optional alarm relay outputs and transmitted via SMS or email.
