Legrand Stop & Go automatic power supply resetting device

Friday, 17 December, 2010 | Supplied by: Legrand Australia P/L

The Stop & Go is an intelligent and secure automatic resetting device designed to protect circuits in homes and commercial properties. The device automatically restarts the power supply after an electrical fault.

The device checks that there is no permanent fault before closing the electrical circuit safely. Once secure, the device instinctively re-establishes the power supply to avoid the unwanted consequences of permanently losing power to equipment or a building.

Since most temporary electrical disturbances are caused by a short circuit or a lightning strike, this ultimately saves time and resources. This is particularly suitable when a continuous electrical supply is required such as for commercial laundries, car washing premises, or businesses where the running of pumps, refrigeration or heating equipment is essential.

When a permanent fault is detected by the system, the device sets off a visual and audio alarm.

Other features include: a free choice of associable products; user friendly and quick to install; pre-wired; can be padlocked in the off position.

The device is compatible with RCDs, 2P - 2 modules; RCBOs, 2P - 2 modules; RCBOs, 2P - 4 modules; and MCBs, 2P <63 A - 2 modules.

Optionally available is an auto-test version that automatically tests residual current protection devices every two months, removing the need for a manual test.
