Schaffner noise suppression chokes cover symmetrical (differential) and asymmetrical (common-mode) noise suppression.

The current-compensated RD series is available in dual, triple and quad (three-core) topologies for asymmetric noise suppression applications including EMI input filters, phase-angle control circuits and for suppression in circuits with no earth connection. It is designed for line voltages to 600 and 850 VAC peak and covers 6-64 A line current.

The RN series is available in dual single-core topology and suitable for through-hole mounting, with 250 V voltage rating and 0.3-10 A current rating.

The EV series is designed for common-mode suppression and low leakage inductance, with high impedance characteristics over a 30 MHz frequency range, 250 VAC voltage rating and 0.3-5 A current rating.

The PC series is designed for switching circuit applications, changing impedance at switching points, DC voltage smoothing and phase angle control. Continuous voltage rating is 500 VAC and current rating is 1.5-25 A.
