The Pentair Technical Products McLean brand Spectracool indoor and outdoor air conditioners provide cooling to sensitive electronics within enclosures. Suitable for a broad range of application requirements, the air conditioners feature a dust-resistant treated coil, supporting filterless operation to reduce clogging in most environments.

The air conditioners provide a broad range of cooling capacities, power input and mounting options. Models provide 4000, 6000, 8000, 12,000 and 20,000 BTUs/h, (1172, 1758, 2300, 3500 and 5900 W) of cooling and operate on 115, 230 or 400/460 V three-phase AC power input.

The air conditioners also feature rotary compressors, which are more energy efficient than reciprocating compressors and allow quick restart under pressure without causing damage. They use R134A refrigerant to lower their environmental impact.

Dual impellers provide redundancy on the condenser side and an integrated active condensate evaporator provides a method of removing condensation without the need for a drain tube. A thermal expansion valve can increase or decrease the refrigerant flow according to load changes on the evaporator.

The all-metal exterior cover, with minimal use of visible fasteners, is removable in one piece for repainting. An outdoor package enclosure-heater option allows operation in temperatures as low as -40°C and the mechanical thermostat has a digital display. Integrated EZ mount tabs facilitate easy installation.

The unit produces 68 dB or less of noise and also features corrosion-resistant components for use in harsh environments.
