Rotary cam switch

Tuesday, 01 April, 2008 | Supplied by: NHP Electrical Engineering Products Pty Ltd

The Elektra range of ‘C’ mount cam switches is claimed to be quick and easy to mount, making it versatile to install in a wide range of applications.

Mounting the cam switch simply requires a 22.5 mm hole to be punched into a panel or door and a 3 mm notch key to prevent the switch from rotating during operation. Once the face place and knob has been mounted, the switch body can be removed for wiring by simply flicking a lever to release. This is a helpful feature to reduce installation time and when installing in confined spaces.

The switch is available in 20, 25 and 32 A ratings and various switch configurations, including a ‘key lockable’ version.
