Snap-off knife

Tuesday, 01 April, 2008 | Supplied by: Irwin Tools

The 18 mm ProTouch knife features a bi-metal snap-off blade with sharpness and durability in a blade that only snaps where it’s supposed to.

Bi-metal is a fusion of high-speed steel with a longer-lasting edge to a spring steel body, which delivers greater flexibility and high shatter resistance.

The knife features: an auto-lock slider button to hold the blade securely during use; a durable aluminium body with a high quality stainless steel slider; an auto-load feature, which automatically loads a new blade when the old blade is ejected; an ergonomic soft grip handle; and a hinged end cap which allows access to the blade cartridge (which holds up to three blades).
