The FrontCom Micro USB coupler is a panel-mount IP65 protected communications port that is simply fixed to a commonly used 22.5 mm hole. The range allows technicians to easily access PLCs, drives and HMIs located in switchboards and cabinets for routine maintenance, reprogramming and upgrading without the need to expose themselves to high-voltage equipment.
Together with the USB-A to USB-B coupler, other models include a USB-A to USB-A coupler and RJ45/RJ45 coupler or RJ45/ethernet IDC connection. All models provide IP65 connection at the electrical cabinet, control panel or distribution box via a single, central screw coupling. It features a push on/pull off rubber cap that is attached to the body of the coupler and is easy to open and close. It also features Steadytec technology providing speeds of up to CAT6A (10 Gbps) and 750 insertions without errors while meeting all industry standards.
