Hilti store opens its doors
Hilti has opened a new showroom and retail outlet in Sydney, complete with a purpose-built demonstration area, offering customers a more hands-on, interactive experience.
The Alexandria site is a stone’s throw from the Sydney CBD and features a new alternative to traditional fixed-service counters. Store representatives use tablets to process transactions, meaning they can go to a client, display videos and provide further information where the product is located. Hilti says that processing is faster using this method, as product barcodes are scanned and the transaction carried out directly.
The company has also provided a virtual browsing service via Google Business View, meaning customers can view products and displays online.
