Loc8.com has won the CeBIT Award for Innovation 2015. Loc8.com provides an asset and maintenance platform designed to let asset owners, service providers and field technicians collaborate in real time to reduce costs, improve productivity and increase profits, through the Loc8 Service Supply Chain.

The award was one for work with programmed facility management and government departments and agencies supporting the social housing sector in A/NZ. Over a period of 18 months, the company built and tested the concept.

Accepted by Co-Founders David Hodges (CEO) and Owen Batt (CTO), the award marks another significant milestone for Loc8.com, in addition to its launch of Loc8 for Windows 8 unveiled at CeBIT as part of the industrial automation and mobility themes for 2015.

“We’re extremely proud to win this award in such a contested, high-calibre category. Every company seeks recognition for the innovation it creates. It’s innovation that differentiates us and it’s our innovation that means customers choose Loc8,” said Owen Batt, CTO, Loc8.com.

Microsoft identified the Loc8 platform, and the company’s role in driving the Service Supply Chain model, as an innovative, fast growth application for the enterprise sector. The two companies have co-invested to ensure a rapid and robust development cycle.
