Occupational safety in transport conference
The Centre for Accident Research and Road Safety - Queensland (CARRS-Q) at Queensland University of Technology (QUT) is once again hosting an international conference on Occupational Safety in Transport on the Gold Coast.
The conference runs over two days (18-19 September) and features 36 national and international speakers from fields including road transport, transport safety, fleets, safety culture and management and construction safety. Topics covered will include:
- Transport safety culture and management
- Technology for the improvement of safety, systems and behaviour
- Transport-related impairments and return-to-work assessment processes
- Industry logistics and transport safety risk
- Developing and evaluating safety programs
- Transport safety, innovations, challenges and opportunities
