Users know where towed assets are and how they are being used, through on-demand and detailed activity reports, which allows better management of asset performance and costs.
Trimble Asset Tracking offers simple deployment with anytime, anywhere access and allows stolen assets to be located and unauthorised use identified through real-time alerts. Idle and rarely used trailers can be identified easily and reallocated, improving overall asset optimisation.
When integrated with Trimble Fleet Management, the solution provides total visibility of vehicles and assets within one interface. The Live Map view shows real-time status and location of towed, powered and non-powered assets. The rugged design and construction makes Trimble Asset Tracking suitable for outside use on multiple assets such as refrigerated trailers, generators or pumps. The long-life, rechargeable battery emits location alerts for up to three months on a single charge.
Real-time alerts are initiated if a unit changes location or has been disconnected and also offers ‘wakes on motion’ functionality for instant location reporting.
