Omicron CMGPS GPS-based synchronisation unit

Available to rent, the Omicron CMGPS is a GPS-based synchronisation unit that is used in conjunction with Omicron CMC test sets (eg, CMC 256-6, CMC 256plus, CMC 356).

The device can be used to start a test on a single CMC unit at a particular time or to precisely synchronise the start of testing on two or more CMC units. A typical application would be testing a differential protection scheme on a power transmission line.

Each kit includes two CMGPS units with antennas and 15 m cables. The software supplied with all of the Omicron CMC units includes the required modules for set-up and operation of the CMGPS units.

Features include: synchronise tests within ±5 µs; two independent timing pulses available via separate connectors; compact, lightweight unit (440 g each); two additional 20 m antenna extension cables in each kit.
