FLIR has added the i7 camera to its range of entry-level infrared cameras. Suitable for plumbers, electricians, window installers, insulation installers or HVAC technicians, the thermal images create a visualisation of heat differences for the naked eye.
The compact, lightweight and easy-to-use infrared camera is suitable for energy audits to identify energy losses and poor insulation, finding electrical faults and overheating, detecting dampness, moisture and leaks, and building inspections to detect hidden problems and damage.
The camera is fully automatic - the user can point and click to see the heat variations in the environment and pinpoint exactly what is being searched for. The readings are immediately visible on a full-colour 2.8″ LCD and can be saved for later reference.
The camera features 120 x 120 pixels image resolution, 5 h battery life (field replaceable), <0.1°C thermal sensitivity and 0 to 250°C temperature range.
Up to 5000 radiometric JPEG images can be saved onto the included MicroSD card, which can be analysed using QuickReport software.
