VeEX CX310 DOCSIS 3.1 installation test set

The VeEX CX310 is a lightweight, ultraportable meter equipped with DOCSIS 3.1 cable modem. It supports true OFDM analysis and VeTest throughput measurements. Key SLM features include single-channel, full system scan, tilt and ingress scan.

For the next few years, service providers will be upgrading their HFC networks to offer ultra-high-speed broadband services using DOCSIS 3.1. To help overcome the technical hurdles while not straining capital budgets, VeEX has introduced CX310, a compact meter suitable for installation technicians.

Key features include: True DOCSIS 3.1/32x8 cable modem; supports OFDM measurements; VeTest throughput; supports the home installation process (HIP) auto test, enabling home certification conformance testing.

Weighing about 1 kg, the meter is optimised for all technicians installing and maintaining DOCSIS 3.1/3.0 CATV networks.

Users can maintain instrument software, manage test configurations, process measurement results and generate customer test reports with included PC software. Field testing time can be extended using interchangeable Li-ion battery packs.
