FLIR E-Series compact thermal imaging cameras

The E-Series range of compact thermal imaging cameras with features like Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, touch screen and iPhone app can be used for predictive maintenance and building inspection.

Available in three different ‘point and shoot’ models - E40, E50 or E60 for electrical and industrial and a bx range for building - the handheld cameras are designed to fit in the palm of the hand, weigh 800 g and are tested to survive and maintain accuracy after a 2 m fall to concrete.

The 340/E40Bx features 160 x120 IR resolution, 70 mK NETD, 2.72 mrad and zoom x 2. The E50/E50bx features 240 x 180 IR resolution, 50 mK NETD, 1.82 mrad, zoom x 4, thermal fusion and scalable PiP. The E60/E60bx features 320 x 240 IR resolution, 1.36 mrad, instant report, extra battery and headset.

The Ebx models for building inspections include features such as a 3.5 touch screen, built-in insulation and dewpoint alarms making them suitable for moisture detection, plumbing problems, HVAC heating and cooling, airflow and much more.

Features includes: up to 76,800 pixels (320 x 240) for better long-range accuracy and a high level of point and shoot camera IR resolution; 3 megapixel resolution provides clear visible light pictures and includes a bright LED lamp that doubles as a flashlight; the large, bright touch screen provides an intuitive interface that uses the entire 3.5 display with no image cropping; Wi-Fi connectivity enables images and data to be sent to an iPhone or iPad; View AppLaser Pointer pinpoints a reference spot with a laser and aligns a marker to it on the image for precise detection; accuracy calibrated within 2% or ±2°C; with scalable P-i-P and thermal fusion users can overlay thermal and visible images for easy location identification and clearer documentation; add up to three box areas and three moveable spots using the touch screen to gather more detailed temperature information; Meterlink wirelessly transmits vital diagnostic data from clamp and moisture meters directly to the camera for annotating thermal images; add voice comments via Bluetooth headset and text notes from the touch-screen keypad; and InstantReport generates a professional PDF document directly from the camera.
