Fluke 6105A and 6100B electrical power standards

Thursday, 22 April, 2010 | Supplied by: Fluke Australia Pty Ltd

The Fluke 6105A and 6100B electrical power standards are designed to deliver stable, precise reference power and energy for use in calibrating electrical measurement equipment in instrument service and calibration, electrical manufacturing and power utility applications.

The 6100B has an accuracy of 0.007% and is designed for calibrating energy meters that take power from their voltage input, while the 6105A has greater accuracy, specifically designed to verify the performance of secondary standards.

The 6100B can also be used to type test 0.1-2% energy meters, while the 6505A has the accuracy to calibrate and type test secondary standard energy meters and Whr meters.

A Microsoft Windows user interface can be accessed through the front panel controls or by connecting a mouse and keyboard to operate the instruments, with actions viewed on the high-resolution, 8 TFT display. Status information of all four phases is displayed, alongside more detailed information on current parameters being set or adjusted.

The instruments can also be operated using remote control. Where multiphase systems are operated, control of the auxiliary devices is via the master unit.
