Fluke TL175 TwistGuard test leads

The TL175 TwistGuard test leads feature a manually adjustable tip guard for use in different measurement environments. By simply twisting the test lead, the user can change the exposed probe tip length. When the guard is retracted, the TL175 Test Leads are safety rated for CAT II 1000 V use.

When the guard is fully extended, the test leads are safety rated for CAT III 1000 V and CAT IV 600 V.

Users can work safely in different settings using the ‘twist and test’ leads.

The TwistGuard extendable tip shroud meets electrical safety requirements to reduce tip exposure while providing the versatility needed for most measurements.

Each test lead is covered by two layers of silicone insulation; inner contrasting colour is exposed when the leads are nicked, scuffed, or otherwise damaged and in need of replacement. This WearGuard lead wire wear indicator adds to user safety.

The double-insulated silicone leads withstand high temperatures and remain flexible in cold temperatures. Another feature is the extra-heavy strain relief on both probe-end and plug-end, which have been tested beyond 30,000 bends.
