Hioki FT6380 clamp-on earth tester
The Hioki FT6380 clamp-on earth tester measures grounding wire-earth resistance using dual, super-slim clamp-on technology. The clamp-on system injects accurate testing voltage in ground wires with simultaneous measurement of current and calculation of ground resistance and rejects external magnetic fields, even to 400 A/m field strength.
The slimline construction requires very little force to open the clamp assembly yet provides a generously dimensioned window, capable of clamping a 32 mm diameter conductor. The Hioki FT6380 is a true rms instrument making it suitable for many power systems including those with high harmonic content. Earth resistance is measured in the range of 0.02 to 1600 Ω (10 ranges from 20 mΩ to 1600 Ω, full scale) and leakage current from 1.00 mA to 60.0 A (five ranges from 20 mA to 60 A full scale).
