IR P660 thermography camera

The IR P660 thermography camera has been developed for applications requiring higher image quality, temperature measurement accuracy and image detail than standard IR imagers. Such applications include utilities, energy, telecom, mining and facility management, often where assets needing inspection are scattered over larger areas.

The instrument features a built-in GPS, which automatically stores positioning data with infrared imagery, adding locations to inspection reports which guide inspection and field repair teams to the correct sites.

Its 640 x 480 pixel detector with 45 mK sensitivity enables thermal anomalies, especially in small or distant targets, to be readily detected, while a ‘contrast optimiser’ enhances details in contrast-rich infrared imagery, so scanned objects and their surroundings can be viewed more clearly.

An optional wireless remote control device steers all vital functions of the infrared as well as the visual camera from a safe distance so that the user can work safely in places that are difficult to access.

The device measures temperatures from -40 to +500°C in its standard version with an optional measurement configuration of up to +2000°C.
